Privacy policy
What this app stores about you, why it needs it, and how you get rid of it.

01 Who runs this
Streaming is a small tool for making stream widgets, run by the owner of this site.
If anything here is unclear, ask through the project repository.
02 Data you give us
Starting as a guest stores a random user id and the channel nicknames you typed. Nothing else.
Signing in with Twitch or Kick also stores your account id, login, display name, avatar URL and access tokens. Tokens are encrypted before they reach the database and are only used to read your own channel data: followers, subscriptions, viewer count, channel point rewards, polls and hype trains.
03 Widget data
Widget settings, saved styles, uploaded sounds, images and videos and the content of a drawing board are stored on the server so your overlays keep working after a restart.
Some state stays in your browser only: counters, timers and the last pinned message, so an OBS refresh does not reset them.
04 What happens in the browser source
Widgets connect from your browser or from OBS straight to Twitch, Kick, 7TV, BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ to read chat and emotes. Those services see the IP address of that machine and handle it under their own privacy policies.
Fonts come from Google Fonts. There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking scripts anywhere in the app.
05 How long we keep it
Data stays until you delete it. Deleting a widget removes its settings and its links. Deleting a file in the Library removes it from the server and from every widget that used it.
Images and videos uploaded on a drawing board are deleted from the server automatically once they are no longer on the board.
06 Your rights
You can see, change and delete everything from the dashboard. Disconnecting a linked account also removes its tokens.
Deleting the account in the dashboard removes everything at once: widgets and their links, styles, uploaded files, drawing boards and connected accounts. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.
